In chapter five we get to see Lenina and Bernard go to the reservation and get to meet the natives. I thought this chapter was a little racist in the way that Lenina describes their guide as smelly and ugly. She sais she doesn't like the way they look and the way they dress. I was a little unconfortable reading this.
John is totally trying to get it on with Lenina. Either that or hes just a really creepy character that likes to watch Lenina sleep. Pretty weird not going to lie. I'm confused why he was going to steal Lenina's things if he is in love with her.
So the ending of the book was a little less than I was hoping for. I was hoping that there would be some sort of rebellion or maybe somthing a little more exciting. So John ends up hanging himself and the Brave New World just lives on. Kinda lame not gonna lie.
Chapter 3 was a little weird, but that's no surprise just as chapter 2 was also weird. In chapter 3 we find out that no one is supposed to have a relationship with anyone for longer than one month. That's a little freaky. The fact that everyone belongs to everyone is so weird and a bit creepy.
When Lenina tries to have sex with John I don't understand why John is so upset with her. I was sure that John liked her but then he started yelling and calling her a whore so now im a little confused .... help?
This chapter is psycho! I don't understand how people can be so cruel to innocent people, especially babies! The more I read this book, the more uncomfortable I get. This chapter was especially dark and definitely made me feel bad for the clones in this story.
